Sowing instructions:

Sowing real buckwheat is a straightforward process that even beginners can easily manage. Here are a few simple steps to get you started:

  1. Choice of locationChoose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Buckwheat thrives best in loose, humus-rich soil.
  2. Preparation of the floorLoosen the soil with a garden hoe or spade to achieve a fine crumbly structure. Remove weeds and large stones.
  3. Sowing timeThe best time to sow buckwheat is in spring, as soon as there is no longer any risk of frost. The exact time varies depending on the climate and region.
  4. Sowing methodSprinkle the buckwheat seeds evenly over the prepared area and cover them lightly with soil. Press the seeds down lightly to ensure good soil contact.
  5. IrrigationKeep the soil evenly moist, but not wet, until the seeds germinate. After germination, buckwheat only needs occasional watering.
  6. CareRemove weeds regularly to give the buckwheat enough space to grow.
