Growing instructions:

Pre-swell the seeds in water for 1-2 days before planting is best. Pre-treat with diluted gibberillic acid. Then stick 1-1.5cm deep into the growing soil and keep the soil moist. Take care not to let the soil dry out or become mouldy (regular, daily fresh air is particularly important to prevent mould). The seeds in the propagation pot are best placed in a (room) greenhouse and, if available, positioned under plant propagation lamps until germination has taken place after a few weeks.

Alternatively, after pre-swelling in water, the seeds can be germinated in spaghum (spaghum moss, coconut fibre or similar) in seed pots. Spaghum etc. are more sterile in handling than growing soil and this medium also allows better air circulation for the seeds.

Who wants a germination accelerator (for heavy seedlings or if you want to bypass the stratification), the germination of the seeds can also improve by means of gibberillic acid (GA3 90%). This can also be purchased from us in the shop HERE:).

After successful germination of the seeds, the seedlings should be left in the greenhouse at higher humidity for a longer period of time and later slowly and gradually be accustomed to drier air.

No direct sunlight or midday sun. Semi-shady places or indirect sunlight are preferred!
