Growing instructions:

These seeds are among the light germinators, which is why they need to be covered with soil only very thinly, if at all, if you want them to germinate.

The germination of the seeds can be improved by soaking them in water beforehand!

Anzuchttöpfe mit Anzuchterde befüllen, mit Wasser besprühen, die Samen auf die Erde legen, nur hauchdünn mit Erde bedecken und mit Wasser besprühen. Die Anzuchttöpfe am besten mit Plastikfolie abdecken und täglich lüften bzw. die Erde feucht halten. Die Töpfe können andernfalls auch in passende Zimmergewächshäuser gestellt werden, bis die Samen gekeimt und die Sämlinge ein paar Zentimeter groß sind. Wichtig ist eine Gewährleistung der Frischluftzufuhr mindestens einmal täglich, um Schimmel vorzubeugen und zu vermeiden.

Needs full sun outdoors, plenty of water and good fertilization!

Nach der Keimung der Samen können die Sämlinge nach wenigen Wochen langsam an die trockenere Raumluft oder Frischluft im Freien gewöhnt werden. Die Pflanzen benötigen ein Substrat mit guter Drainage, um Staunässe zu verhindern. Unter guten Bedingungen können die Pflanzen im Freien über 2m groß werden.
